How many times a week is your mailbox stuffed with junk mail? If you are like 90% of people, there is so much that you cannot find your important mail.
1) When you send out greeting cards, birthday cards, referral cards, or thank you cards they will be a welcome change from the junk that gets stuffed into mailboxes on a daily basis. And guess what? They will be opened and acknowledged instead of being filed with the rest of the mail. The marketing strategy that you employ by sending greeting cards will be used over and over and that is one part of being a success.
2) Thank you cards are a way to express your gratitude. For people’s business, their input, help they may have given or anything they do for which you would like to say thank you is the occasion for a thank you card. Send out cards to say thank you to people attending one of your seminars on the greeting card business.
This is one way to follow up with prospects that may want to get into this business. Sometimes you have to strike while the iron is hot. Get your thank you cards out right away so your business stays fresh in their mind.
3) Many businesses send out cards to their customers and prospective customers and other businesses. You probably have a head start on this, because you get them too. Send all the businesses in your area one of your cards to introduce yourself. Invite them to drop by and check out your business. Send referral cards to businesses across town. Send them to the next town closest to you. Send them everywhere that you can send a referral card.
4) For a retail approach you may want to choose a couple of your cards and display them in your store. If you have an actual store, they can be put in the spotlight where people can see them from the sidewalk. If you are a website owner, make sure you get these display cards on the website in a conspicuous place. Do not let people wonder what kind of cards you have; show them.
5) Here is another great idea. There are always job fairs going on in every city. The next one in your city can have a greeting card home business in the line-up. You can take your cards and all the different ways to make money and set it up at one of the job fair booths. Home businesses are increasing daily and you can make an impact on the attendees, showing them how they can have their own home business and make as much money as they are committed to making.
6) If you are planning to have a sale, you will want to send out cards to let everyone know the what, when, and where of your sale. This will help to advertise your business and many of your shoppers will become repeat shoppers which is one of the things that retailers love.
After you complete these actions, you may conside starting a greeting card business yourself because sending out cards is really fun to do.

Golf is an honorable game based upon an ancient set of rules and code of behavior. What’s more, it puts you at a significant advantage to understand the fundamentals of golf etiquette prior to stepping on the golf course for the first time.
Most people who have played golf for any length of time, do so with an innate sense of responsibility to uphold and adhere to the long held traditions of this gentlemanly game.
No matter if you’re playing alone, or you’re in a group of two, three or even four you must still observe the etiquette of golf. Remain observant at all times of the group or person playing in front of you and ensure they are at a safe distance ahead before you play your shot.
Patience is a virtue when playing golf, so do not pressure the group in front if they are playing a little slower than your group. It’s a good idea to try and adjust the pace of your play to suit the speed of the groups, both in front and behind you. By doing this, you will minimize any frustration that you may feel at being held up and in all probability your game will benefit from a more even pace.
A good habit to develop, while you’re waiting to play your shot, is to go to your own ball and start to visualize the shot you want to play. Work out the direction you need to hit towards and the club you will want to use. By doing this, you will be able to maintain your concentration and control over your game. When it is your turn to play, you will be focussed and ready.
A greatly appreciated point of etiquette is to allow the person or group playing behind you to play through if you or your group are holding them up. Simply stand aside and wave them through and then wait until they are out of range before continuing on with your game.
Be mindful of your playing partners and when they are going to play their stroke. When someone is preparing to have a shot, it is important to remain totally quiet and respectful of their right to concentrate and focus. Always stand behind them and out of their line of sight. It can be very annoying to hear someone rattle their car keys or jingle some coins just as you’re about to start your backswing.
Most people when they play their strokes, take a scrape of turf and dirt with them on their follow through. It’s very important to replace the grass divot in the hole you created if possible and stamp it down with your foot. Most golf courses provide small buckets which you can fill with dirt to also help with repairing divots. By doing this you ensure that the grass recovers sufficiently quickly for the grounds keeper to maintain the best playing surface possible. Likewise if your ball creates a pug mark in the green where it lands, repair that as well.
When on the putting green, never, ever, walk across the line your playing partners ball will take when they putt. Putting commences with the player whose ball is the furthest from the hole and the hole is complete once all players have putted their ball in. Replace the flag in the hole and leave the green at the rear, so as to allow the group following to play up to the hole without worrying if they’re going to hit anyone.
Whilst waiting for your turn to tee off at the next hole, fill in your scorecard. The player with the lowest score on the previous hole always tees of first.
These are just the basic elements of golf etiquette and whilst the more you play the more you will learn, the simple rules listed above will ensure that you will have an enjoyable game of golf right from the outset and that you will always have other people ready and willing to play with you.
Above all, when in doubt…do as you would want others to do to you!

When you first bring your puppy home, it would be best to put it into a box with newspaper on the outside of the box. Make sure that the puppy can jump over the sides of the box so it can go to the toilet when it needs. Make the pup a bed in the box with some old clean rags or blankets.
Try to put a little amount of rags in the box for the pups bed, because if the pup does WET, then you wont have much to clean up. The pup will need a little something of yours to have next to itself in the box. Maybe you may like to use an old sock or ripped shirt, which has your personal smell on it, some people like to wrap a ticking clock in the cloth to symbolise a heartbeat, better still, if you were to take a toy with you when you buy the pup, get all the pups and the mum to play with the toy. This will obtain the smell of the litter and the mum.
These methods may help the pup to sleep better as well as you. It can also help to create an early bonding between you and your animal. Continue this for the first few days. Then you must place the dog into its permanent sleeping area. When the pup wakes in the morning pick it up and take it outdoors where you want the dog go to the toilet. Pick a spot that is accessible for the pup to get to and easy for you to clean. Once you place the pup on the area, you can assist the dog in starting urination by rubbing its genitals. The mother usually does this by licking the pup on the genitals, then it urinates.
This stimulant brings on the response of urination as soon as the pup does its business “PRAISE IMMEDIATELY”. Then you can take the pup back to its place of boarding. If you were to wait a while the pup should urinate on its own and besides rubbing this area is usually only for very young pups (0-5 weeks). If the pup urinates as you pick it up or upon a greeting then the pup has week nerves (temperament).
This can be overcome by creating confidence in your dog and not doing anything when this happens. If you reassure the dog then you are probably rewarding this behaviour. You may like to carry the dog to the spot if it is a fair distance down the garden, then gradually after a few days encourage the pup to the site from a short distance from the site. Increase the distance only when the pup learns it has positioned itself correctly. If it goes in the wrong spot, pick it up and show it the correct spot by placing the dog gently down where your would like it to go. Do not be hard on the young dog and don’t forget to praise even when the dog gets it right quite a few times.
Important: Do Not rub the dogs nose in its mess if it makes a mistake, just clean up the mess, this is your fault not the dogs fault.
In doing the above exercise you can restrict the dogs manure to a specified area, which is easier to clean up. Remember that all sorts of training takes time and if you persist, you will get the results you are looking for. Puppies usually go to the toilet after they wake, after meals and before they sleep. So if you try to work to a routine to take the pup outside at these times it will make easier learning for the pup.
If the pup does not go when you take it out, do not get disheartened with the pup, leave the pup for a while and only play with the dog when it has done what it has to do. The dog likes to smell where it has done its duty so it can go there again. The pup will still be able to smell the spot even when you have removed the manure. If you have not got the time to be with your animal at all times and your pet is a house pet then do the same method of training in a designated area where you would like it to do its business in your house. A small dog may have a litter tray like a cat or just newspaper is sufficient.I
f you catch the pup in the act at doing its business in an area other than the space set out, quickly pick up the dog with moderate force and give the verbal correction command you have chosen. Then take the pup to the correct area and only praise when the pup finishes its business. ONLY do this if you catch the dog in the act… REMEMBER - DO NOT BE CRUEL OR TOO HARD ON THE PUP, THIS IS NOT ONLY UNNECESSARY BUT IT CAUSES COMPLICATIONS IN LATER TRAINING.
Show the dog where you put the mess, slowly and gently pat the pup when it sniffs around (do not verbally praise at this moment unless the dog does more of its business). Never be too hard on the pup in the corrections, remember its size and fragility. This pet house training method will not take long to show a response, just remember the praise must always outweigh the punishment command for this to work and that all training will work if the proper methods are used and allow time for the results to happen.

The Kettle Valley Railway is a discontinued rail line where the rails and ties have been removed and the surface graded. Trestles had been retrofitted with planking for a smooth surface and there is some maintenance performed to clear up slides. The Kettle Valley Railway (KVR) stopped operating in 1989 and the tracks were ripped up in the early 1990’s. The KVR at one time consisted of 477 kilometres of tracks from Midway in the Interior to Hope on the coast. The Kettle Valley Railroad blasted the series of tunnels through granite in 1915. In about a third of a mile there are four tunnels and two bridges spanning the Coquihalla River.
Trail is in great shape. Most interesting sections are Princeton to Coalmont (great cycling by the river through some mountain gorges/ ochre cliffs/ big tunnels) and beyond Brookmere (Cold Water River is beautiful). Trail is relatively good. From McCullough to Beaverdell is sort of “downhill” and can be done quickly over some sections.
The lake is located less than 1 minute away. Beach gradient is gradual for a long distance.
Cyclists are more than welcome, be it for a piece of Doreen’s famous homemade pie or a few days of R&R. Cyclists can easily detour around on Quilchena Avenue and rejoin the former railbed within a block. The railbed is passable until you reach Beaver Lumber which has fenced it off.
The Kettle Valley Railway trail runs by so nature lovers can hike or bike our numerous scenic trails, or you can just relax by the lake and soak in the serene beauty of Princeton Castle. There’s also horse back riding, swimming, and Peddle Boat rentals available.
Penticton and Princeton are our next proposed stops. We are having a fantastic time. Penticton is a 50 minute drive south from Kelowna. The US/Canada border crossing to the south on Highway 97 is open 24 hours a day; other border crossings in this region are closed overnight.
But it was calm and quiet when I rode through there. The stretch between Hollister and Atascadero is devoid of any towns except a multitude of cattle ranches which seemed to have stopped evolving in the 1920s.
Cyclists are more than welcome, be it for a piece of Doreen’s famous homemade pie or a few days of R&R. Cycling vacations in New England, in “old England” and in continental Europe have become incessantly popular ways to see the scenery at a relatively leisurely pace, economically and heathily as well. In Europe or the UK, where rain train transportation is wide-ranging for rainy days, times when travelers want to skip from place to place, or when they just need a rest day, it is quite simple to put together an independent itinerary for those with strong legs and lungs to match. Cyclists can easily detour around on Quilchena Avenue and rejoin the former railbed within a block. The railbed is passable until you reach Beaver Lumber which has fenced it off.
Trails across private land, treaty land or leased land may have been used casually by local and visiting travelers without any formal agreement with the land owner/manager. It used to be that “innocent” trespass was overlooked but now that trails are being mapped and signs are being erected property owners are concerned that they may lose their control of the use of the land or that they will be held liable should a trespasser be injured or killed. Trail is relatively good. From McCullough to Beaverdell is sort of “downhill” and can be done quickly over some sections.
The Kettle Valley Railway offers a unique two-hour journey on one of BC’s few remaining fully operational steam railways. From May to October, enjoy a tour along a preserved ten-kilometre section of the original railway. The Kettle Valley Railway right-of-way has become a favourite travel route because of its easy grades and spectacular scenery. Rock Oven Park contains several interesting features of historical significance. The Kettle Valley Railway served the Kootenay Mining Region of the southern interior of British Columbia for 85 years, and for many of those years operated both as a freight and passenger railway. However, passenger service was phased out by 1964, as private cars rapidly supplanted rail travel with the opening of highways from the coast into the interior, and freight service ended in 1989 in the face of a severe competition from trucking companies.
The Kettle Valley Railway was created in part to help preserve both Canadian sovereignty within the Kootenay region of British Columbia, and also retain mining revenues in Canada.
Cycling this trail is truly a dynamic and challenging venture that unfolds over the expanse of place and time. Cyclists should be aware that this is a great little campground at Km 42.3 just north of Rhone. It has fire pits, a little beach, water, and really clean outhouses. Cyclists come from all over the World to experience this historic trail. Over 600 km of trails provide exciting recreation for people of all ages and cycling skill levels.
Built to connect the Kootenay region to the coast of BC through the southern Okanagan, it was 525 km (326 mi) long and traversed near-impossible terrain with trestles and tunnels. It was said to be the most expensive railway built anywhere in the world. Built in 1898 by the Canadian Pacific Railway, she now is dry-docked on the lakeshore. Activities include a short video, model railway display and self-guided tour of the vessel, which has plush Victorian dr, realistic displays and historic artifacts. Built nearer the City, this original strip was completed in 1928 and became, on May 9th, 1929, the first federally licensed airport in B.C. Airmen were trained there during W.W.II, and in 1946 a new field farther away from the built-up area was opened.
Trail users MUST be prepared for potentially long periods of sun exposure, and must bring sufficient water supplies. In addition, some of the trail surface in this area may be loose gravel, making a long uphill trip seem even longer. Trail is in great shape. Most interesting sections are Princeton to Coalmont (great cycling by the river through some mountain gorges/ ochre cliffs/ big tunnels) and beyond Brookmere (Cold Water River is beautiful).
Kelowna’s premiere tourist attraction is a scenic, nostalgic, leisurely, romantic and entertaining journey on board an original Super Continental cross-country passenger train through Canada’s scenic Okanagan Valley in British Columbia. The handsomely restored railcars make a round-trip north from Kelowna, traveling through two valleys, along three lakes, through the middle of a golf course, and past countless farms and orchards. Kelowna’s Accent Inn is right in the middle of the sunny Okanagan, a year-round recreation paradise, ideal for family vacations and ski or golf getaways. Sparkling Okanagan Lake is rimmed by sandy beaches, acres of orchards, famous golf courses and charming estate wineries.
Carved through rocky topography, the section through Naramata was one of the most difficult sections of the KVR to construct. Several trestles of the KVR have been rebuilt in the area. Carmi was once a booming town with a gold mine, a jail, a hospital, two hotels, two stores and gas stations. It is now a ghost town.
Open May through September, this recreation area features vehicle/tent sites and a picnic/day-use area. Remains of gold and silver mines that once brought thousands of people to this now peaceful area can be seen on the river’s eastern bank. Open May through September the park features 87 vehicle/tent campsites, including some group sites.? The sites are located at a bend on the west bank of the Kettle River nestled in an area of Ponderosa pine and birchgrass. Facilities provided include pit toilets, picnic tables, fire pits, firewood, water and a sani-station.? Recreational facilities include a children?s playground and some horseshoe pits.
Trestles are covered with a boardwalk and have railings. Eighteen trestles and two tunnels in a horseshoe loop allow breathtaking views of the Canyon and the City of Kelowna below. Trestles, tunnels and lake vistas are common on the surrounding trails, and the longest tunnel (1 km) on the CPR is just over the hill. We shuttle you to the height of land (in most cases) so your ride is almost always downhill.

What does Monavie, Global Resorts Network, and MyInternetBusiness all have in common?
Let me tell you! Without going in to too much into my past, I owned a very successful mortgage brokerage business down here in South Florida for 12 years. About 2.5 years ago, even before the Sub-Prime Mortgage world went belly up, I was burnt out and ready for a change. I sold my business and went to work for a small mortgage company figuring I could just take it easy and not worry about the day-to-day tasks of owning a 40 man mortgage shop.
here is where I was re-introduced to network marketing again! This kid Devon brought in this fancy looking wine bottle and was telling everybody that it’s not wine but juice.
Not just any juice but this one had a fruit in there that had special healing powers!
It was called Acia, pronounced Ass-sy-ee. Then handed out little paper cups and was giving everyone a shot. My first reaction was that it tasted horrible. But then he told me that a friend of friend was making $12,000 a week doing this and it peaked my interest.
I ended up joining Monavie as an affiliate marketer and began marketing it the old fashion way. Make a list of everyone you know, Show the plan, attend meetings, so on and so forth
Fast forward 9 months later. I had a lot of Monavie juice in my closet but no real money to show for my efforts. That was the end of Monavie for me.
I still knew there was a lot of money to be made working from home but I didn’t know where to turn. I started looking to the internet to see what the attraction was and then it hit me like a case of Monavie Active Juice!
Billions of people all connected by their computers. I didn’t have to live in the Texas to do business there.
I quickly learned about this amazing opportunity called Global Resorts Network! What this is is a powerful travel plan with an amazing compensation plan. The product is a Travel Program that allows you to stay at 5 star resors for about $298 for 8 days and 7 nights.
Global Resorts Network has changed my life 180 degrees. I now have more time to spend with my family and do the things we love doing. Like vacationing to the Bahamas, spending time on the everglades fishing and just simply going to the movies and out to dinner!
The GRN system has enabled me to help a lot of people create and abundance of wealth in their lives. I never experienced that before in the dog-eat-dog of corporate America or in the mortgage business for 12 years.
Time Freedom is a very precious commodity that most people will never know about.
Because of this time freedom, I was able to embark on another program that is helping thousands of people all over the world call My Internet Business.
This product behind this direct sales company is Internet training and marketing!
The number one issue on your prospects mind is “how am I going to learn how to sell/market/promote my “stuff” online?
That’s why My Internet Business is so unique and special. It really works like no other business on line today.
You really need to take a free tour of My Internet Business today and see what it’s all about! Request a “Call Back” and test drive this system for yourself! Or simply call me and we can discuss it further.
Best regards,

If you are looking for a Cheap Airline One Way flight look no further. I have the answer for you. The best airline for such a flight is Southwest Airlines. I have found that this airline is a fantastic value. Every time I have flown on this airline I have been completely satisfied with the results. Perhaps she is easy to please, you might be asking? Well, that could be true, but I prefer to think that I am realistic. I am certainly not saying that every flight I have ever taken with them has been totally perfect in every way. There have been hiccups of course, but in general, they are the greatest. I love the idea that they book online only. This cuts out the middleman and saves me money, something I am always in favor of doing.
Since I am not the most skilled on the use of the World Wide Web, I appreciate the fact that their reservation system is very easy to understand and use and that aCheap Ticket One Way is a frequent result. I get great rates on rental cars when I book them at the same time as my plane reservation. Once again, this makes my life easier, as well as keeps more money in my pocket. Recently I booked some Cheap International Airline Tickets and that made me very happy. Yes, I am smiling. After the reservation is booked, I print a confirmation and they send me one by email with the itinerary. On the day of the flight, I can go to their website and print my ticket, or is it a boarding pass, whatever.
When my husband is with me, we go online early so as to get in the first boarding group, otherwise I go on whenever I want before my flight. I print it and bring it with me to the airport. At the airport the check in procedure is smooth and efficient with my home printed ticket, or boarding pass and they give me my gate number. At the gate we line up according to our boarding group letter and number, and so there is no stressful squeezing into a line, or having other people try to squeeze in front of you.
Seating on the plane is your choice, so I am never forced to sit somewhere I do not want to sit. My flights have been on time or within 5 minutes of being on time about 90 percent of the time. Once the plane was overbooked and I got a free flight for volunteering to take a different flight that day that was only an hour after the one for which I was originally scheduled.
All in all I love Southwest Airlines. When I plan a trip, I look to see if Southwest flies there, and that factors in to my planning. Their fares are so reasonable, that I can stay longer or go farther away. It’s great.

A blog carnival is a simple concept - here’s the description from the Blog Carnival web site: “Where someone takes the time to find really good blog posts on a given topic, and then puts all those posts together in a blog post called a ‘carnival’.”
So why would you want to do this? Yes, it’s just another ‘thing’ you have to do with your blog posts (submit to bookmarking sites, Digg, etc…) - but the payoff is that this technique really works. You get great relevant backlinks from sites similar to yours- AND relevant, convert-able traffic to boot. Just hop over to Blog Carnival and set up an account - add the carnivals that apply to your web site to the ‘Favorites’ section and submit away. Blog Carnival will then send your entry to the host for that week, and the host will have your email to let you know when the carnival is posted. BlogCarnival’s mission is to facilitate carnivals by bringing contributors and hosts together. For example, if you have a blog focused on personal finance, you can go to Blog Carnival and search for carnivals that are relevant to this topic and then submit your post to them.
If you’re going to make the effort to write quality blog posts, you might as well get maximum exposure, right? Successful people understand and use the power of leverage and that’s exactly what you’re doing when you submit your posts to blog carnivals. You don’t have to rewrite the post. You just leverage off the work you’ve already done.
You’ll find that submitting to blog carnivals is easy. It shouldn’t take you more than 30-40 minutes every week to submit to 20 carnivals. Submitting your blog posts to blog carnivals and/or blog registries are time consuming processes, but may help to also increase your readership.
The challenge is that there are only so many hours in a day and submitting a blog post to dozens of blog carnivals every week can be boring, monotonous work. It’s work the most successful Internet business owners don’t do themselves. You’ve got more profitable things to do with your time like creating products and writing sales letters to name a few, right?
Now you can take the concept of leverage one step further by having an automated submit to blog carnivals script in place. You can just sit back, relax, and watch the flood of blog carnival submissions pour in…not to mention all the valuable links so important to ranking. I’ve put blog carnival submissions on auto-pilot and now you can use my resources to do the same for your blog. More links and more traffic with no additional effort. How can you beat that?

Everybody loves bluebirds and a bluebird birdfeeder can bring you many hours of pleasure as you attract these birds to your garden. You can find a bluebird bird feeder just about anywhere garden supplies are sold. You can even find a bluebird birdfeeder online.
Like most of the other birdfeeders on the market - with the exception of the hummingbird feeder - bluebird birdfeeders offer the bluebirds attractive seed that they will swoop in to get. You can buy a mixture of bluebird feed at your local nursery or even at an internet website online. It is usually made up of dried fruit, seeds and even bugs - all essential to the diet of a bluebird.
The type of birdfeeder that you purchase will be determined by the type of yard you have. If you have a small yard with little trees, you may decide to get a free standing birdfeeder. If you have a large garden with trees, you can hang a birdfeeder in the tree.
Styles abound with bluebird birdfeeders. Some of them are shaped like little houses. They not only allow the birds to feed but also to nest. Some species of birds will take you up on that offer. Most birds will just enjoy the feed.
When you are installing a bluebird birdfeeder or any other type of birdfeeder, make sure that you put it up high enough so that other animals cannot get to the feeder. The purpose of having seed in the feeder is that you feed the birds, not other animals that are on the ground. Birds have a hard enough time competing with other animals for ground food so it is only fair that you put the birdfeeder in a place where they will have easy access - the trees. If you do not have trees in your garden, you can attach the bluebird birdfeeder to a large pole.
Take a look at the different birdfeeders that are on the market before you purchase a bluebird birdfeeder. Make sure that you know exactly where you are going to put it and that it is in a place where the bluebirds who feast there will be safe from cats and other predatory animals that might harm or kill them. Putting a bluebird birdfeeder near the ground can be cruel as it lures the birds to the feeder only to be captured by the neighbourhood cat.
Once you have the bluebird birdfeeder installed, you will want to make sure that you keep the seed in the feeder at all times. The birds are creatures of habit and will continue to come to your birdfeeder as long as they think that there is food. Some bluebird birdfeeders offer you a chance to put in quite a bit of food and are virtually self feeders. A little food dispenses each time the birds finish the prior food. This can be the best way to feed the birds if you are busy person.
Attracting birds to your garden, especially the lovely bluebirds, has never been easier thanks to the wonderful new bluebird birdfeeder products that are on the market. Get one that is easy to install, right for your garden and make sure you get plenty of seed.

So you’re probably wondering why I’m suddenly talking about how to lose weight fast. It all started because a few days ago I visited a friend’s place where I had to climb two flights of stairs, and was a very intense experience. By the time I reached the top, I was sweating, coughing, my skin was hot, and I felt like I would die. I had to get myself into the bathroom to splash some cold water on the back of my neck, and gazed up into the mirror, and that was when it hit me: I have to lose weight. Fast.
Actually, I actually feel like I’ve turned into my dad. He was an enormously fat guy, with a wonderful sense of humor and a strong, good-natured outlook on life. But boy, he was huge. And lately I’m getting fat as well. Now don’t misunderstand, I love my dad, but I really want to keep myself from topping 350 pounds. Because once you get that far along, there’s really just no turning back.
So I’ve been researching how to lose weight fat. My wife has agreed to do this with me, saying that she wants to lose some weight also, which I think will make it quite a bit easier to stick to whichever diet program we end up with. There’s an awful lot of contradictory weight loss tips out there
I’ll keep you guys up to date on how good the weight loss plan is turning out for us. I know weight loss isn’t going to be easy, but it’s time to make it happen as far as I can tell, so I’m really going to be working hard to learn how to lose weight fast.
